About the Technology
What metals can your system recover?
Our closed-loop electrochemical system can recover gold, silver, platinum, palladium, rhodium, and iridium — the full platinum group metals (PGM) spectrum — plus many other dissolved heavy metals. This is a significant advantage over conventional methods that typically focus only on gold and silver.
What feedstocks can be processed?
Raw soil, mine tailings, e-waste, industrial waste streams, slag, and other metal-bearing materials. Our system is particularly well-suited to feedstocks that have been deemed “unrecoverable” by traditional methods — such as legacy dump sites or low-grade ore bodies.
Is the process truly closed-loop? Are there waste outputs?
Yes. The system continuously regenerates its acids and oxidizers in-loop, meaning no repeated chemical makeup is required. The final byproduct from the leaching stage is neutralized within the same system and is safer than traditional agricultural soil — a major environmental improvement over conventional hydrometallurgical processes.
Do I need prior chemistry experience to use your equipment?
Knowing the science and being able to apply it safely are two different things. We strongly recommend booking an introductory consultation before purchasing equipment or starting any project. Safety, proper methodology, and sound chemical practices are essential — and we’re here to help you get started correctly.
Working With Rowow
What happens in the first call?
In the first introductory call, we’ll map your goals and constraints, identify where electrochemical processing can fit into your workflow, and outline potential next steps. You’ll leave with a clearer picture of whether this is the right approach — and if it is, what a proof-of-concept plan might look like.
Where are you located and do you work with international clients?
We’re based in Florida, USA. Our mission is focused on building domestic U.S. precious metal recovery capacity, but we’re happy to consult with international parties. Physical equipment orders and on-site analysis services have recently opened to international customers, subject to applicable trade restrictions — we do not work with sanctioned entities or countries, as outlined in our Liability Agreement.
What is your XRF analysis service?
We use a Rigaku NEX DE lab-grade XRF spectrometer to analyze elemental composition of your material (powders, liquids, or solid objects up to 10ml). We can detect elements from sodium to uranium — giving you access to lab-grade analytical capability at a straightforward, affordable price, without the overhead of a full laboratory service. Order through our store, ship us your sample, and receive your report.
Is your technology and documentation free to use?
Yes! Our ion exchange membrane design and process documentation are open-sourced on GitHub. We believe in a race to innovate, not a race to lock technology up. We also share regular process updates and educational content on our YouTube channel. Commercial use and adaptation is encouraged — we just ask that you give attribution.
