NightHawkInLight video on electrolysis with ion exchange membranes

Build and demonstration, June 2026

NightHawkInLight

Built membranes from hardware-store materials using the published Rowow recipe and demonstrated the electrolysis applications they make possible, followed by a long-form interview with Robert Karas on his second channel.

Neptunium building the Rowow ion exchange membrane

Replication, May 2026

Neptunium

Built the membrane on camera from cation exchange resin ground to powder and an equal volume of clear PVC cement, spread on a polypropylene sheet, then discussed how recovered metals could be verified by ICP-MS. A long-form conversation on ore assays followed on the Rowow channel.

PushingButtons replicating and testing the Rowow cation exchange membrane

Replication, March 2026

PushingButtons

Nikita built and tested the cation membrane from pool filter resin and clear PVC cement, then used it in 3D printed test cells and to try to concentrate neodymium from scrap hard drive magnets. A three hour conversation followed on the Rowow channel.
