This is a white PVC foam-board electrolysis cell body with (2) clear PVC face plates—one for the cathode (negative) side and one for the anode (positive) side.
Note: “Clear” PVC is naturally a transparent blue tint—there is no truly colorless/optically clear PVC.

  • (1) Cell body made from white 3/4” (19mm) PVC foam board, cut as shown in the photos
  • (2) Clear PVC face plates 1/4″ thick (anode + cathode), cut as shown in the photos
  • (1) 1/2” clear PVC pipe, approx. 3”–6” long

What is included in the unassembled kit?
You receive all the pre-cut PVC foam board pieces and face plates needed to build the V1 cell body. Electrodes, power supply, membrane, gaskets, and fittings are not included and must be sourced separately.
Do I need special tools to assemble this?
Basic assembly requires PVC cement/solvent, clamps, and standard hand tools. A drill may be needed for pipe fittings. Full dimensional diagrams are included in the product description.
Why would I choose unassembled over assembled?
The unassembled version is ideal for researchers who want to modify the cell design, educators building custom setups, or buyers looking for a lower-cost entry point. It gives full control over the assembly.
Is this the same cell design as the V1 Assembled?
Yes, the same V1 cell design. The unassembled kit uses the same PVC foam board body and clear PVC face plates as the assembled version.
