Membranes and Resin
Cation exchange membranes cast in house from ground ion exchange resin in a PVC binder on fiberglass, and the ground resin itself for casting your own. The casting method is published on GitHub.
The V1 slide-in membrane ($100) comes cast into the four windows of a 19.5 x 12.6 in foam frame that fits the V1 cell. The 11 x 8.5 in sheet ($30) is for cutting to fit your own cell. The ground resin powder ($10 for 16 fl oz) is for casting your own.
Membranes ship wet in a sealed bag and must not dry out. Rowow runs these membranes in acidic chloride electrolytes; ask before using other electrolytes.
